This is the rather traditional situation faced by the characters in the comedy Open Couple, Antonija (Toma Vaškevičiūtė) and her husband (Giedrius Savickas).

The situation is traditional, but the solution is truly original.

Shocking, even!

We bet you wouldn't have thought of it.

But the minds of the heroes of our comedy have taken a strange turn.

"We will only save our relationship when we fundamentally change our cultural attitudes," says the husband.

"But that's not how it works. You know what happens? A war of nerves, panic attacks, insomnia, a bunch of pills, consultations with psychologists, and ultimately stupidity," Antonia skeptically assessed the idea at first.

But in the end, HE convinced HER.

In order to save their marriage, they both agreed to become an "open couple."

They would not hide their intimate relationships with others. And they would share their adventures with their family without any shame or remorse.

"This dance must be performed by a couple, and both partners must be prepared for sudden turns. It is impossible to predict who will emerge victorious from such a relationship," says the director of the play, Antanas Obcarskas.

The comedy "Open Couple" keeps the intrigue going until the very last seconds of the performance. And the impressive finale becomes an even bigger surprise for the audience!
